Accessibility Statement
Texas Soap Company wants everyone to be able to shop with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnifiers or other assistive tools.
Our goal
We are working to make texassoap.com meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities.
What we have done so far
- Reviewed our website with automated testing tools and keyboard-only checks in October 2026.
- Darkened our footer text, ingredient and product detail text, and the More payment options link so they are easier to read.
- Gave the add to cart button on phones a spoken name.
- Added a text description to our main homepage image.
- Added a link to this statement in the footer of every page.
Known limitations
We know some parts of our website still need work. Here is what we are still fixing:
- The banner at the top of each page changes on its own and cannot be paused.
- Some slideshow buttons, menus, lists and the cart table have structure problems for screen readers.
- Some scrolling product photo areas cannot be reached with the keyboard alone.
- The discount code box in the cart only shows hint text instead of a lasting label.
- Our search page does not have a main heading, and some heading levels skip.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of our website is hard to use, please let us know. We will help you get what you need and work to fix the problem.
